Great choice for trip. Neat, modern hotel built in a traditional style. A lot of great food for meals. The rooms with the massive TV, futon bed plus the bedroom. Location - excellent and lovely, close to 2 big supermarket & 100 yen sushi and a quiet neighbourhood. Also, in peaceful neighborhood.

I had great food for breakfast with an awesome green tea. Magnificent location near to Kyoto railway station, restaurant, 100 yen shop, sushi shop, bus stop and Kyoto and the near districts, I felt safe. It also was in a very nice part of town.

Thank you for a such wonderful stay. The staff is superfriendly and accommodating, that's an advantage. I must comment on its central location - it was stunning! Nijo station is 15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast. The freshly prepared sandwiches and coffee were a great way to start the day. I also appreciated the fact that the foldable tables in each dorm bed were very useful and well-designed. As for the location, it was perfect. The hotel was conveniently located near a train station, restaurant mall, big 100 yen store, and supermarkets, making it easy to explore the area. Another advantage was the friendly and helpful staff who made me feel welcome throughout my stay.

On the downside, the steep stairs in the hotel were a bit challenging, especially when carrying food or drinks. This could be particularly difficult for elderly guests, so I wouldn't recommend this property for them.

We appreciated this traditional hotel, no reason to complain. Booked a room with futon bed. The staff was accommodating, incredible, and responded promptly to requests. Location: the property was so close to railway and Nijo castle which is convenient for taking buses, metro, and JR trains.

Great location near train station, supermarkets, restaurants, and public transportation. Clean and quiet room with a living room and balcony for socializing. Awesome staff, especially Tommy who speaks good English and cooks delicious breakfast. Helpful in providing travel information and serving tea/coffee. Can purchase a bus pass.

Everyone was incredibly nice as well as owner. The rooms of our place were impeccably clean with futon bed, everything was excellent. The service was absolutely great: )

incredible staff, spacious rooms, and comfortable futons made our celebrating anniversary in Kyoto even more memorable. The central location near Nijo Castle and Nijo train station was a huge convenience. The hot breakfast served every morning and the helpfulness of the staff, especially with carrying our suitcases, added to the exceptional experience.
